Unlike cooking under pressure with a pressure cooker, the steam oven gently cooks by saturating food with steam at normal atmospheric pressure and at a constant low temperature of 100'C which preserves the quality, texture, and colour of the food.

Steaming is the cooking method that best retains nutrients, mineral salts and vitamins. More over, there is no need to add fat or sweeteners, making steam cooking the healthiest diet.

Once the food has become saturated with steam, it is cooked and will remain at the same point until all items are saturated with steam and have completed cooking.
