If you don't require a freezer box then what you need is a Larder Fridge. Should you require a freezer section then you have a choice on some models to go for frost Free, no manual defrosting. Most larder fridges are automatic defrost. During operation, ice will build up on the back wall of the appliance, this will melt and run down into a channel and out of the appliance into a small dish above the compressor. Heat generated during the operation will evaporate the water. Look out for special storage features, including humidity controlled fruit and vegetable drawers, split shelves for keeping tall bottles upright, pull out trays for packaged meat or cheese. |
